The Oscar that Cate Blanchett bagged in 2005 for her portrayal of Katharine Hepburn in 'The Aviator', co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is very popular among her friends who like nothing more than posing with the statuette.
However, the British actress reveals, at first she wanted to hide the award. "I thought about sticking it in the loo," she says.
Fortunately, she changed her mind.
"I'm actually very proud of it. So I ended up putting it on the grand piano because all my friends want to pick it up and pose with it," she says.
