As we all know that the entire nation, not just Mumbai needs great leadership, which will chalk out a plan for improved infrastructure and security. One of the issues that needs urgent attention is health care.
I fail to understand that despite India being an agricultural country we still have families dying of hunger. Tons of food, which can feed the nation, rots due to lack of proper food preservation techniques. It’s distressing that the government ignores such important issues. Why don’t we have health insurance and social security in a country that is witnessing an economic boom and is considered to join the list of the powerful nations of the world in the near future?
Why can’t our country have a blanket education for every child in India? Why do we have medieval thinking that your chauffeur and maid’s kids will go to a poor school and your kids will go to a top line school? It’s sad that we impart even education and teachings, going by status and standing. I cannot believe that with such disparities, India is still considered to be shining.
